I had always admired a well appointed bar area at friends homes and offices and often considered doing something for myself, likewise. I just received the Wellington as well as the Buckingham decanters for a bar area we have been putting together and they really make it all come together. I bought these for whiskies, and the dark, rich amber colors really bring out the quality of the decanters. Then of course, once hefted, you can feel it too. Excellent purchase, and I am now considering possibly one or two more!

Nice looking decanter for the most part but the top does not fit snugly and is not air tight. We returned it...hassle free as always with Amazon.

Pretty bottle, but the stopper doesn't fit all that well and allows for air inflow. It is the same stopper as used on another Ravenscroft decanter I own, so they are just generically made and added without testing for fit or seal. This means that you can't really use these for long term storage of your liquor. I wouldn't trust leaving liquor for more than 2 weeks without serious degradation from oxidation.Packaging was horrible, the bottle came loose in a flimsy box that was 2X the size of the bottle. -There was no protective packaging securing the bottle, which makes me suspect this was a "return" item that Amazon fulfillment carelessly resold as new without bothering to re-package with any care. Kinda amazed that it made it to me in one piece.
